There are two InterPro office locations on North Campus. One location is in the Chrysler Center and the other location is in the H.H. Dow Building. Below is an overview map, a campus map and two more maps directing you to either the Chrysler Center office or the H. H. Dow office. Approach
  • Take Exit 41 off of US 23 onto plymouth road west.
  • Travel west to Murfin (less than 2 miles) and turn left at traffic light.
  • Travel four blocks and turn left at the Pierpont Commons Metered Visitors Lot and park.
    To Chrysler Center
  • Enter Pierpont Commons at north entrance or Chrysler Center at plaza (by Bev Pepper sculpture).
  • Enter Chrylser Center by N. Campus Gallery to Chesebrough Auditorium lobby

    To H.H. Dow Building
  • Cross the diag to the H.H. Dow Building and enter at the east entrance (to the right of the Alice Alcock sculpture.)



    PARKING NOTE: Visitors Lot is 50 cents per hour between the hours of 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. Parking violations at the University of Michigan carry a fine in excess of $20.00 per occurence.

  • Enter Chrysler Center via corridors by North Campus Gallery.
  • Cross Chesebrough lobby and enter Chrysler Center to the right of the auditorium.
  • InterPro offices entrance is immediately to your right.

H.H. Dow Building

  • Enter at the east entrance of the Integrated Manufacturing Systems Laboratory.
  • Turn left and proceed along the mural to the InterPro stairway entrance.
  • Ascend the stairs and proceed north to the administrative offices.

    For Elevator Access
  • Enter at the east entrance of the Integrated Manufacturing Systems Laboratory as above. Proceed north along the corridor to the elevator vestibule, and go up one level, to the mezzanine (M) floor.
  • Turn right and proceed west to the InterPro offices entrance.

I-94 (Ford Freeway)
From Detroit (heading West)
Take I-94 West to US-23 North Exit 180. Take Exit 41 (Plymouth Road). At the end of the exit, take a left (west) onto Plymouth Rd. Go approximately two miles and take a left on Murfin Road. Go past the four-way stop sign and down a hill. The Pierpont Commons is on the left. Metered parking is available to the left.

From Chicago (heading East)
(Easiest way for directions, but also longest) Take I-94 East to US-23 North Exit 180. Take Exit 41 (Plymouth Road). At the end of the exit, take a left (west) onto Plymouth Rd. Go approximately two miles and take a left on Murfin Road. Go past the four-way stop sign and down a hill. The Pierpont Commons is on the left. Metered parking is available to the left.

Take I-94 East to M 14 East (towards Plymouth) to US 23 South. Take Exit 41 (Plymouth Road). At the end of the exit take a right (west) onto Plymouth Rd. Go approximately two miles and take a left on Murfin Road. Go past the four-way stop sign and down a hill. The Pierpont Commons is on the left. Metered parking is available to the left.

US-23
From Ohio (heading North)
Take 23 North to Exit 41 (Plymouth Road). Turn left (west) off the exit onto Plymouth Rd. Go approximately two miles and take a left on Murfin Road. Go past the four-way stop sign and down a hill. The Pierpont Commons is on the left. Metered parking is available to the left.

From Northern MI (heading South)
Take 23 South to Exit 41 (Plymouth Road). Turn right (west) off the exit onto Plymouth. Go approximately two miles and take a left on Murfin Road. Go past the four-way stop sign and down a hill. The Pierpont Commons is on the left. Metered parking is available to the left.

I-696 (W.P. Ruether Freeway)
From Northwest Suburbs
Take I-696 West to I-275 South to M-14 West to US-23 South. Take Exit 41 (Plymouth Road). Turn right (west) off the exit onto Plymouth Road Go approximately two miles and take a left on Murfin Road. Go past the four-way stop sign and down a hill. The Pierpont Commons is on the left. Metered parking is available to the left.

I-96 (also called the Jeffries Freeway)
From Parts of Detroit, Redford, M-14, Plymouth and Canton
Take I 96 to M 14 west to US 23 South (Exit 42). Take Exit 41 (Plymouth Road). Turn right (west) off the exit onto Plymouth Road. Go approximately two miles and take a left on Murfin Road. Go past the four-way stop sign and down a hill. The Pierpont Commons is on the left. Metered parking is available to the left.

From Lansing
Take I-96 East to US-23 South to Exit 41 (Plymouth Road). Take a right (west) off the exit onto Plymouth. Go approximately two miles and take a left on Murfin Road.
