| Submitting your application to the Ross School of Business: |
A Full -Time dual degree MBA/Master of Engineering in Manufacturing (MBA/M. Eng. in Mfg.) applicant must apply to both the College of Engineering and the Ross School of Business. (Applicants should note that if they are admitted to one of the programs, it does not guarantee admission to the other program.) To help with the admission process, an applicant should follow the steps below.
- Follow the Full-time MBA application deadline dates (Fall semester - November 1, January 7 or March 1) More information about MBA application deadline dates can be found at: http://www.bus.umich.edu/Admissions/ApplyNow.htm.
- Follow the MBA application process and submit your MBA application on line to the Ross School of Business. MBA on-line application process can be found at http://www.bus.umich.edu/Admissions/ApplyNow.htm
- Please specify on your MBA application that you are applying to the Full-time dual degree MBA/M. Eng. in Mfg. program.
- Follow the MBA on line application process for submitting transcript/s and letters of recommendation and other MBA application requirements.
- If an applicant misses the MBA application deadline dates, he or she may choose to apply to M. Eng. in Mfg. and if admitted to the program, apply to the MBA for the following year. (M. Eng. in Mfg. deadline dates for Fall semester - Domestic Applicants: May 1 , International Applicants: April 1)

- Next, send a PDF copy of your completed Ross School of Business Application and essays to the College of Engineering, InterPro-Program in Manufacturing office by e-mail attachment to kbishar@umich.edu (Attention Ms. Kathy Bishar).
- have a set of official transcript/s mailed to the address listed below.
- The Manufacturing Engineering office requires two letters of recommendation. At least one from an employer.

- Applicants must meet the admission requirements for both programs (i.e., each programs specific requirements for letters of recommendation, essay requirements, work experience requirements, etc.)

Prerequisites for Master of Engineering in Manufacturing:
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering degree or equivalent (not an engineering technology degree).
- At least two years of college of engineering mathematics (including probability and statistics) and a course in manufacturing processes.
- One Year of cumulative work experience in industry.
- The Graduate Record Examination (GRE), general test, is highly recommended but not required.
