Admission Deadlines

  • Domestic Applicants: July 1 is the deadline for Fall admission!
  • International Applicants: April 1 is the deadline for Fall admission!
  • Domestic Applicants: October 15 is the deadline for Winter admission!
  • International Applicants: September 15 is the deadline for Winter admisssion!

Admission Requirements

Prerequisites for admission include:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or applied science.
  • At least two years of college of engineering mathematics.
  • The equivalent of 18 months of full-time relevant industrial experience.
  • The Graduate Record Examination (GRE), general test, is highly recommended.
  • For international students the Test of English Language Proficiency (TOEFL) or Michigan English Language Assessment (MELAB) is required.

Students seeking financial aid must also submit GRE scores. The university code is R1839.

- Complete an online application
- Submit Statement of Purpose online (When you apply online, instructions for submitting your statement of purpose are with online application instructions.)
- Two Letters of Recommendation are required. Recommenders may submit Letters of Recommendation online (When you are applying online, instructions for recommenders submitting online letters of recommendation are with online application instructions.)
